The Tortoise Table is ideal fpr housing most species of Tortoise including Mediterranean varieties. The Tortoise Trust states that some species do not tend to do well in classic vivarium style enclosures and recommends a table style home for good healthy housing.
The table has a wire run below the tray for outdoor garden use, keeping the inhabitants safe! The base tray allows for deep substrate so the Tortoise can bury themselves to manage their body temperature. The unit comes without any heating or lighting equipment.
